Driving Innovation Podcast: Adwait Joshi, DataSeers

The third episode in Tech Alpharetta’s Driving Innovation podcast series explores a Startup Success Story and Serial Entrepreneur. Adwait Joshi, founder of DataSeers, shares his entrepreneurial journey, including his experience building the fintech startup that graduated from our incubator in late 2018. The company has been scaling quickly from its global headquarters in Alpharetta and its new office in India. Joshi is also a member of Tech Alpharetta’s Board of Directors.

Founded in 2016, Dataseers has engineered a unique solution for effectively harnessing complex data. Its FinanSeer software is AI-powered and specifically designed to help banks and payments companies greatly improve their reconciliation, compliance, fraud detection and analytics.

Joshi had an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, starting his own company at 15 in India. He came to the U.S. in 2001 for graduate school and began his IT career with large companies, including Fisher Price and Intel. In 2008, he started his first U.S.-based company and after a successful exit in 2016, he founded DataSeers. He believes in the philosophy of solving complex problems with simple solutions. For more than a decade now, Joshi has been working with various verticals to solve their data-related problems. He has tremendous expertise in big data and analytics.

Joshi believes that being a startup member at the Tech Alpharetta Innovation Center played a big role in DataSeers’ growth. “That kind of environment for a startup is important, the conversations and interactions you have with others drives innovation.”
