Flexential is a leading provider of data center colocation, cloud, disaster recovery and hybrid IT solutions. It operates 40 connectivity-rich data centers spanning 21 markets in the U.S., including its 142,000 sq. ft. facility in Alpharetta and 30,000 sq. ft. data center in Norcross.
The company selected Alpharetta for one of its data centers given the area’s robust infrastructure, heavy network bandwidth and power. The city’s high density of technology companies and enterprises were also attractive selling points.
Previously known as Peak 10, the company has been involved with Tech Alpharetta for a number of years. Tim Langan, regional vice president for Flexential in the southeast, recently joined Tech Alpharetta’s Strategic Board of Directors as a way to connect with local businesses as well as foster a better relationship with the city of Alpharetta.
