Paul Nagrowski serves as Chief Financial Officer for the US arm of Siemens Financial Services, a technology company focused on developing and financing new, groundbreaking technologies to improve the world. Siemens is celebrating 25 years of financial services that have empowered customers worldwide to innovate with the latest technology advancements.
Nagrowski has been employed by Siemens for over 20 years, where he first started in the company’s financial management training program. Over the course of his career, Nagrowski has held various roles, from working in a manufacturing facility to audit and financial analysis.
Siemens is one of the largest employers in the Alpharetta area due to its manufacturing facility that produces train propulsion systems. In fact, one can even ride the Siemens streetcar in downtown Atlanta, which was in part manufactured in Siemens’s Georgia 400 facility, along with its Amtrak ACS-64 locomotive.
The company’s significant presence in the Alpharetta community is attributed to its Smart Infrastructure, Digital Industries and Mobility businesses. Siemens supports the growth of the local tech community as both a vendor and supplier and continues to remain active by participating with groups such as Tech Alpharetta.
Nagrowski became involved with Tech Alpharetta five years ago. He has served on the Strategic Board as Treasurer and Vice Chair and today serves as Tech Alpharetta’s Chairman of the Board. During his time on the board, Nagrowski has seen continuous growth within the Tech Alpharetta community as more tech companies have moved to the area. As Chairman, he predicts that this trend will continue.
“Alpharetta is becoming the technology city of the South,” said Nagrowski. “As the ecosystem has gained critical mass, we see the benefit of partner relationships driving further growth. Siemens has enjoyed the advantages of being part of the Alpharetta tech community, where we can network as part of the innovation ecosystem.”
