Rich Cannon serves as CEO at Rali, a software service that utilizes technology, behavioral science, and change management best practices in a first-of-its-kind Change Experience Platform. Rali delivers measurable results by creating a highly interactive experience that scales content and activates behavior change, ultimately shaping company culture for the better.
After working remotely with Microsoft for 12 years, Cannon felt distant from the local tech community and recognized the need for engagement. Tech Alpharetta has provided Rich with engaging opportunities, innovative ideas, and networking, allowing him to better connect with the area’s tech community. Rich is currently chair of Tech Alpharetta’s Executive Board.
Cannon expressed that one of the most vital parts of being an active member of Tech Alpharetta is the financial support necessary for most tech startups. Rali has raised more than $10 million to date, mostly due to the North Atlanta and Alpharetta tech communities. The ability to pitch ideas face-to-face is essential for bringing concepts to reality.
“When I think about where Alpharetta is today, I see us doubling,” said Cannon. “I see no boundaries around growth and job opportunities because real estate is cheaper here than anywhere else. The diversity works here where people are really a part of this community, not just a bunch of individuals.”
