Sweta Sneha is the founder and executive director of Healthcare Management Informatics at Kennesaw State University. Since starting in 2008, Sneha has seen KSU transition to one of the largest public universities in Georgia and establish a strong foothold in the education space.
Sneha’s role at KSU involves building strategies and connecting with the education industry within the healthcare space. With healthcare being a diverse segment, she engages with larger health systems, providers, health technology companies and startups, all represented in the greater Alpharetta community. She works with the healthcare industry to help understand and acknowledge gaps, provide a greater workforce, bring in faculty expertise and work through challenges to foster innovative solutions.
Having lived in Atlanta for nearly two decades and moving to Alpharetta in 2018, Sneha was first introduced to the Tech Alpharetta community by CEO and founder Karen Cashion. Sneha is inspired by Cashion’s work within the Tech Alpharetta community and how she built the space from the beginning.
Over the next few years, Sneha predicts only continued growth for the Alpharetta tech community. As she sees more companies move their operations to the area, Alpharetta can look forward to a growing talent pool. “The Alpharetta corridor is growing bigger and with educational institutions like the Innovation Academy and others coming into play, I really see it growing bigger and better and supporting the ecosystem in a stronger way,” said Sneha.
