Tech Alpharetta CEO Karen Cashion Named to 2022 Georgia Titan 100 List

Titan CEO and headline sponsor Wipfli LLP are pleased to announce Karen Cashion, CEO of Tech Alpharetta, as a 2022 Georgia Titan 100. The Titan 100 program recognizes Georgia’s Top 100 CEO’s & C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry using criteria that includes demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion.  Collectively the 2022 Georgia Titan 100 and their companies employ upwards of 240,000 individuals and generate over $66 billion dollars in annual revenues. This year’s honorees will be published in a limited-edition Titan 100 book and profiled exclusively online. They will be honored at an awards ceremony on May 12th, 2022, and will be given the opportunity to interact and connect multiple times throughout the year with their fellow Titans.

Karen Cashion has served as CEO of Tech Alpharetta for the past five years. A 501(c)6 nonprofit organization, Tech Alpharetta’s mission is to help grow technology and innovation in Alpharetta. In addition to its strategic advisory board, Tech Alpharetta runs a thriving tech startup incubator in Alpharetta and a STEAM mentoring program for high school students, and it hosts educational and tech thought leadership events for tech executives.

Prior to joining Tech Alpharetta, Cashion practiced law for twenty years, as both a commercial litigator and corporate technology lawyer. Karen began her career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City, and in addition to law firm practice, has previously served as Assistant General Counsel for EarthLink and Legal Counsel, Global Technology for Travelport, LP in Atlanta.

She received her J.D. with high honors from Duke University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Emory University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Cashion will be honored at the Titan 100 awards on May 12th, 2022, at Zoo Atlanta: Savanna Hall.  One of the city’s most treasured historic buildings the 1921 building has been revitalized by Zoo Atlanta for its new life today.  As home of the Atlanta Cyclorama for more than 90 years, the building is famous for its grand scale and neoclassical architecture. This unique cocktail-style awards event will gather 100 Titans of Industry and their guests for an evening unlike anything that exists in the Georgia business community.
