Pat Cisco serves as General Manager – South Region for Microsoft, where he leads a consulting practice. His team implements mission-critical and complex systems for global companies worldwide. After more than 20 years at Oracle, Pat joined Microsoft a year ago. His entire career has been spent working in professional services for the IT industry.
During a corporate relocation, Pat decided to move his family to the Atlanta area, where he fell in love with Alpharetta for its sense of community and strong tech presence.
Microsoft significantly emphasizes partnerships and encourages its employees to give back to the community. The company recently wrapped up its Annual Give campaign, where employees were encouraged to volunteer in their communities. This mindset and core value system led Microsoft and Pat to Tech Alpharetta.
Being a larger tech company, Microsoft’s involvement in Tech Alpharetta has provided opportunities to interact with local startups and smaller businesses and the chance to offer a larger company’s perspective. Pat states that the pipeline of technical talent within Tech Alpharetta has proven to be a great benefit for a company the size of Microsoft.
Microsoft has partnered with Tech Alpharetta for many years and Pat currently serves on the Executive Board. “If you are a smaller firm or business and you are not involved with Tech Alpharetta, you are missing an incredible opportunity to work with some of the leading companies in the area,” said Pat. “Join as quickly as you possibly can to expand and grow your presence in the Alpharetta tech community.”
